Is veganism a cult?

Anti-vegans love to say that vegans are in a cult, which I find both preposterous and hilarious. Let’s compare the two groups:

  1. One group pays people to confine, abuse, mutilate, and slit the throats of 90 billion sentient beings a year, so this same group can eat their flesh, drink their secretions, and wear their skin.

  2. The other group spreads a message of compassion and kindness and tries to minimize the unnecessary suffering and death of sentient beings as much as possible.

Which one sounds more like a cult to you?

Here’s a great article that explains it much better than I would. https://veganfta.com/2022/01/18/is-veganism-a-cult/

Now, there is a cult we should talk about. I’m referring to the proud members of the anti-vegan cult; the ones called carnists. They are the ones who fight against veganism and spend their free time trolling vegan Facebook pages, Instagram posts, YouTube videos, etc. You see, 99% of the world is not vegan, but they just go about their lives and don’t give us a second thought. Because they don’t think about us, or if they do, they don’t care that we don’t eat animals. Those are normal, healthy individuals.

But not the carnists. They are always seething with rage, throwing temper tantrums, and absolutely obsessed with vegans. They cannot go one day without arguing against veganism. And naturally, all their arguments are misinformation, downright lies, and/or fallacious logic. Why do they do this? Because they’re in a cult, fixated on us. It’s an unhealthy psychological obsession with a group of people who just want to see animals left alone. But they can’t stand for that. Not them. They will not rest until as many animals as possible are harmed and killed. Because for some strange reason, pro-animal harm and death is the stance they’ve chosen to take. Why? Because they’re in a death cult.

Vegans live rent free in their small, delusional, uneducated cultist minds. But that’s ok, because we’re all laughing hysterically at them at their expense, and enjoying the show. 🍿
